INSTRUCTION FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS |

|
1. FORM OF ORAL PRESENTATIONS
 |
LONG PAPERS ( 7 minutes and 3 minutes discussion).
Original work of scientific interest. |
|
SHORT PAPERS ( 5 minutes and 2 minutes discussion).
Valuable to present preliminary result of work in progress, new insights of known diseases, case report, etc. |
|
Please note that session chairpersons have been instructed to strictly adhere to time allocations. Presentations will be halted after the allotted time period to allow time for discussions. |
IMPORTANT NOTE |
|
At least one author of each abstract and the presenter typed in italic at the programme enclosed should register for the congress. |
|
Please pay particular attention to report to the organizing secretariat ( mugearbak@dekon.com.tr ) if there is a change of the presenter of an oral presentation since it will affect the scientific programme. |
2. DATA PRESENTATION
|
Presentations are needed to be supplied only in PowerPoint format and please note you need to bring it on a CD or on a memory stick and load it on one of the congress' computers in the Speakers' Ready Room at least 2 hours before THE START OF THE SESSION. |
|
If combining video films with PowerPoint, please make sure to download the video film at the same computers in the Speakers’ Ready Room and inform the staff about the video. |
|
Please note that the congress’ computers in the session halls are being supplied with Microsoft Office 2003. |
|
Presenters MAY NOT use their own computer to run lectures; lectures are needed to be presented with the equipment supplied. |
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MACINTOSH USERS |
|
If you are using a Macintosh laptop computer, please note that you need to supply your own laptop as a back-up and confirm that it has a VGA socket for external signal. Additionally please come to check it first in the Speakers’ Ready Room and later in the session hall where your lecture is taking place. Note that this needs to be done during the coffee or lunch break prior to your session and at least 2 hours before THE START OF THE SESSION. |

Only Macintosh users are asked to supply their own laptop computer as a back-up and are kindly asked to report the organizing committee ( mugearbak@dekon.com.tr ) that they will use a Macintosh, in advance of the congress. |
|
The organizing committee strongly discourages the use of own computer and will not accept any responsibility due to connection, compatibility and other problems. |
3. VIDEO
|
If you need to use a video for your presentation (mpeg format only), please advise the staff in the Speakers’ Ready Room as soon as you arrive, at least 2 hours before THE START OF THE SESSION. | |
